EFEMER - ALTERNATIVE ROCK BAND FROM WARSAWEfemer Band was born upon affection for soundtracks, rock, piano sound and dark atmosphere. We consider piano as the leading instrument, not only because it is capable of creating a powerful rocking energy so it can replace electric guitars, but also it offers to produce many different expressions. Piano sound can be as powerful and noisy as that of distored guitar, but it can be also romantic, relaxing and equally engaging. By compiling a variety of singing, screaming, melodic bass and rock drums with the voice of piano one can achieve a unique sound which is hard to define. One may hear in our compositions some influence of music by Dead Can Dance, Joy Division, Laibach, Fugazi or Piano Magic being mixed and enhanced with new ideas and quality. All this is transparent in our vast soundscape of distinct contrasting emotions. Check it out!
